Every Friday the Fork Union Military Faculty and Staff meet to nominate a few who have exceeded the standards and demonstrated superlative performance. Whilst we have various awards and recognitions - a simple "Well Done!" we hope, is also appreciated. The combination of the Bravo and Zulu nautical signal flags, i.e., Bravo Zulu, also referred to as "BZ," is a naval signal, typically conveyed by flag hoist or voice radio, meaning "Well Done" with regard to actions, operations or performance.

The following are the Bravo Zulu awards for this week:

Cadet Brady Moring is a junior and first-year cadet in Alpha Company. He is a boarding student from Colonial Heights, VA. Cadet Moring is being recognized as an up-and-coming leader amongst his peers. Recently, he voluntarily assumed many of the roles and responsibilities of First Sergeant. Bravo Zulu, Cadet Moring!

Cadet Kendall Coard is a senior and fourth-year cadet in Battalion Staff. He is a boarding student from Southampton, NY. During Easter Break, Cadet Coard hosted parents and assisted with cadet check-out. Bravo Zulu, Cadet Coard!

Cadet Joshua McGuire is an eighth grader and first-year cadet in Charlie Company. He is a day student from Louisa, VA. Cadet McGuire won Cadet of the Term for Term 4, with an exceptional presentation before the review Board. Also, he has zero demerits and is the manager of the Baseball Team. Bravo Zulu, Cadet McGuire!

Ms. Regina Delman, Ms. Shannon Higginbotham, and Mr. Jose Rodriguez volunteered their time over Easter Break to take cadets to Kings Dominion. Their dedication to our cadets is much appreciated. Bravo Zulu, Ms. Delman, Ms. Higginbotham, and Mr. Rodriguez!

Go FUMA!
