Introducing the Plitt Student Loan Program 

Fork Union Military Academy is pleased to offer the Plitt Student Loan Program, a new financial option designed to help families manage tuition costs with affordable, extended repayment terms. 

Through the generosity of The Clarence Manger and Audrey Cordero Plitt Trust, this program provides eligible families with the opportunity to pay a portion of tuition in regular monthly installments over four years after their cadet graduates from the Academy. 

Key Benefits of the Plitt Loan: 

• No interest accrues until repayment begins. 
• Low 3.75% simple interest rate for affordable monthly payments. 
• Borrow up to $6,000 per academic year, with a total maximum of $24,000 over four years. 
• Loans are managed through Educational Computer Systems, Inc. (ECSI), a trusted third-party loan servicer. 
• No prepayment penalties for early repayment. 

Loan Eligibility & Terms: 

• Who can apply? The student is the primary borrower, with a parent/guardian as a joint owner. 
• Repayment begins 30 days after the cadet graduates or disenrolls from Fork Union Military Academy. 
• Loan term: 48 monthly payments (4 years).
