On Wednesday, October 9, 27 cadets from Fork Union Military Academy had the unique opportunity to participate in a direct admission event at Randolph College. The day-long experience included a campus tour, an interactive lecture by a Randolph professor, lunch in the college's dining hall, and one-on-one meetings with admissions officers—all culminating in the cadets receiving on-the-spot admission offers.

The day kicked off with an engaging science lecture, where the professor explored the question, "Is the science in movies accurate, or is it intentionally exaggerated?" Using clips from popular films, the professor challenged our cadets with physics-related questions. Impressively, our cadets answered correctly, showcasing their sharp academic skills and enthusiasm for learning.

Randolph College went above and beyond in their hospitality, providing a charter bus for transportation and ensuring that our cadets had a memorable experience. Postgraduate lacrosse and basketball players had the chance to meet with their respective college coaches, fostering potential future athletic relationships.

This event was open to all seniors, postgraduate lacrosse players, and postgraduate basketball players, providing them with both academic and athletic opportunities.

We are proud of our cadets’ success and grateful to Randolph College for hosting such a meaningful and well-organized event.
