We are excited to host the 37th annual Military School Band Festival at Fork Union Military Academy, 22-24 February 2013. We register on Friday morning 22 February at 0830 in Flag Hall, and auditions will begin in that facility at 0930. The rehearsal area will be the main stage of John J Wicker Chapel, the site of our final concert at 1400 on Sunday, 24 February. I am pleased to introduce SFC Doug Earlenbaugh, USAR as our Concert Band clinician and guest conductor. SFC Earlenbaugh Doug Earlenbaugh is the Fine Arts Administrator and Director of Bands at Norfolk Christian Schools and concurrently serves as the training NCOIC and enlisted conductor of the 380th Army Reserve Band.  Directing the Festival choir, we welcome CW4 Kathleen Landas who is the Fine Arts Department Chair and Chorus Teacher at Kempsville HS, Virginia Beach, VA and concurrently serves and the Commanding Officer of the 380th Army Reserve Band.  We are also delighted to have MUCM Joe D. Brown, Drum Major of the Navy Band, Washington, D.C. returning as our Drum Major clinician, so it appears the Navy is well represented this year! We are also bringing back the bagpipe clinic which will be taught by Mr. Andrew Dodge from Northern Virginia.

This will be the second year the festival has included a festival choir!  Please bring any singers you may have in your school so the choir can once again see the success we enjoyed last year!
